The red Chateau Pontet Canet is a Cinquièmes Cru produced in a vineyard by the same name in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Interestingly, you’ll find horses turning the soil in the Pontet Canet vineyard, instead of tractors, because they don’t step in the same place twice, aerating the soil better.
This powerful Bordeaux wine is concentrated, balanced, and tannic, and tastes best after 10 years of bottle age.
