2000 Château Rauzan-Gassies Margaux Grand Cru Classé

VIVINO rating of 4.1 based on close to 10,000 reviews.

Sitting on an excellent terroir, Château Rauzan-Gassies produces a great Classic Margaux, particularly suited for those who prefer refinement over power. This wine has a silky, delicate substance, and needs at least a decade in the cellar before it can express the full potential. The nose develops aromas of violet, blackberry and blackcurrant. On the palette it is full and rich but also has very fine tannins following the style of Margaux wines. Not forgetting to mention, this is the great 2000 vintage of Bordeaux.
