Château Soutard is one of the oldest domains in Saint Emilion. The chalky soil in which its vines grow, combined with the traditional methods of working the ground used here, have each played their part in producing a wine of character with immense concentration. Soutard produces a great Saint-Émilion which strongly demonstrates its characteristics preferably after at least a decade of cellaring.

Some would describe the wines as precise and generous.
