Sitting on an excellent terroir, Château Rauzan-Gassies produces a great Classic Margaux, particularly suited for those who prefer refinement over power. This wine has a silky, delicate substance, and needs at least a decade in the cellar before it can express the full potential. The nose develops aromas of violet, blackberry and blackcurrant. On the palette it is full and rich but also has very fine tannins following the style of Margaux wines. Not forgetting to mention, this is the highly sought after 2009 vintage.
